I am Katherine Fix, but everyone calls me Katie. I am a junior at UNC studying journalism and environmental justice, and I care deeply about stories that move people. When an idea grabs me, I follow it with my whole self and build it into something people can experience, not just read.

I love creating work that lingers and shifts how someone sees the world. Whether I am writing, coding, or working with a community, I bring curiosity, momentum, and heart. I am proud of who I am becoming and excited to keep shaping stories that spark real change.
